How our guarantees work
This page lists every guarantee MAP Sweep Desk offers, with its conditions, together with our refund and cancellation rules. A promise that is not on this page or in your order confirmation is not a guarantee we make. No guarantee pays you more money than you paid us: a guarantee is honoured as a refund of what you paid, as credit toward our work, or as more work.
Our guarantees
Miss-or-Wrong-Row Refund and Re-Run
What we promise: If your MAP Violation Sweep misses a below-MAP listing on a page it covers, or lists a row whose capture does not show a price below your MAP, and you show us within 7 days of delivery, we refund the full sweep fee ($350) and re-run the sweep at no charge. A page it covers is a page on the coverage list in your order form. A listing is missed if it was on such a page and below your MAP on the sweep date, within the limit of 1,500 listings.
Conditions: You sent your MAP price list for the sweep, and the row or listing is checked against that list. You show us the missed listing or the wrong row within the time limit below. A row you set aside as an approved promotion or an exempt style is not a wrong row if its capture shows a price below your MAP.
What you get: A refund of the $350 fee you paid for that sweep, or the invoice withdrawn if you have not paid it, and one re-run of the sweep at no charge, delivered within 2 business days of our decision.
Time limit: Within 7 days of delivery, counted from the date of the delivery email, US Eastern Time.
How to claim: Reply to the delivery email or email hello@mapsweepdesk.com, and give the link to the listing or the row in your list. If the page has changed since the sweep date, include a dated capture or screenshot.
Who decides: We decide from the sweep's record and the listing you show us: whether the page was on the coverage list, and whether the listing was below your MAP on the sweep date.
Most you can receive: One refund of the fee paid for that sweep ($350) plus one re-run per sweep. A re-run brings no second refund or re-run.
Uncaptured Page Retry
What we promise: Any page on the coverage list of your MAP Violation Sweep that we could not capture is named in your list and retried within 1 business day at no charge.
Conditions: None. You do not need to do anything.
What you get: A retry of each page named as not captured, and an update by email of any listing below MAP that the retry finds.
Time limit: Within 1 business day of delivery.
How to claim: No claim is needed. If a named page has not been retried, tell us at hello@mapsweepdesk.com.
Who decides: We decide from the sweep's record of which pages were captured.
Most you can receive: A retry of each page named as not captured. This guarantee pays no money.
Refunds
If you ask for your money back, we first offer to credit what you paid toward a redo or another of our offers. If you still want a refund, we refund what you paid. We make that offer once and do not press it, and a refund is never more than you paid. Refunds go back by the method you paid with.
Cancellation
MAP Violation Sweep. To cancel a MAP Violation Sweep, reply CANCEL to any email from us, or email hello@mapsweepdesk.com with the word CANCEL. If you cancel before it is delivered, we stop the work and nothing is owed. If you cancel after it is delivered, its price is still owed because delivery is the billable event; we stop any re-checks still to come, and our refund rule still applies.
Retailer Protection Sweep. To cancel a Retailer Protection Sweep, reply CANCEL to any email from us, or email hello@mapsweepdesk.com with the word CANCEL. If you cancel before it is delivered, we stop the work and nothing is owed. If you cancel after it is delivered, its price is still owed because delivery is the billable event; we stop any re-checks still to come, and our refund rule still applies.
Daily monitoring. Month-to-month, cancel any time, by replying CANCEL. Cancelling stops every later charge at once. Daily monitoring runs to the end of the month you have already paid for, and nothing more is owed. You may reply PAUSE instead: while it is paused we do no work on it and charge nothing for it.
Extra monitoring block. Cancel any time, by replying CANCEL and saying that you mean the block. Cancelling stops every later charge for the block at once. The block runs to the end of the month you have already paid for, and nothing more is owed. Cancelling or pausing Daily monitoring also cancels or pauses the block.
Plans that renew automatically are cancelled by replying CANCEL to any email from us, or by emailing hello@mapsweepdesk.com with the word CANCEL; no call, form or reason is needed. The full renewal and cancellation terms are in our terms of service at https://mapsweepdesk.com/terms.
Claims and requests
To claim a guarantee, ask for a refund, or cancel, email hello@mapsweepdesk.com or reply to any email from us. We reply by email within 2 business days, and we tell you in writing what we decided and why, naming any condition that was not met.
